HATMAKER WEEK 41, OCTOBER 2022: NOW THAT'S SOMETHING!

Posted by Mikael Einarsson on

The wonderful colors of Autumn! The leaves are turning to various shades of colors and are slowly falling to the ground. It’s a wonderful season and the world looks beautiful. The hats of this week looks very stunning as well. The colors are clearly autumn shades. First out we have a custom OLAV FEDORA in 50X BEAVER BLEND, STEEL Color. Finished with a light brown ribbon and 6 mm thin brim binding. Have a look at the video on the YouTube Channel to see the colors in a different light.

The second hat is a wonderful Campaign Hat in 50X BEAVER BLEND, SABLE BROWN color. It’s been a while since I made one of these and it’s made with a slightly wider brim, 3 1/4 inch. This particular hat has an under-welted edge. I usually craft these with a bound edge, but it’s wonderful to be crafting something different and as per request.

I don’t have much more to share from this week. I might have found a new workspace and home for HUFVUD HATMAKER. Will seal the deal next week and start to plan from there. Exciting times ahead! More on that later on.

As always, I appreciate that I have the opportunity to craft your fedora. Your are helping to keep this craft alive by placing orders, sending donations and sending words of encouragements. Much love!
