Three beautiful custom hats are completed this week. I am working diligently to complete as many custom orders as I can before the end of the year. A new addition to the Hufvud Hats family is the Valiant Fedora, worn by Bob Hoskins in the movie "Who framed Roger Rabbit" from 1988. I saw this movie for the first time in the middle of the 90s and I loved it. Watching it again in 2023 brings back memories. I was asked to replicate this unique fedora as best I can and here is the result. A very unique and different style of hat.
Below you will find a photo of a Black Cagney Fedora in 30X Beaver Blend. I am not offering the 30X anymore, but I do have Black felt arriving in December in 50X Beaver Blend. Happy to place that color back in stock. The final fedora is a beautiful Ragnar Fedora in 50X Beaver Blend, Stone Color. Requested as a Long Oval shape.
As I mentioned before, new felts are arriving. Both replenishment and new colors. I am definitely well stocked for 2024 and 2025 to craft custom hats for you. Already, I am planning for new colors and other details. Never ending development of Hufvud Hatmaker. I am also working on a new shelf to place the hats that I am working on in order to free up some more space in the studio. Efficient organization of the studio is important. I am also becoming quite the craftsman at woodworking. Pretty cool.
