The hats I craft at Hufvud are amazing! If I look back several years and compare the knowledge I have today, it's beyond belief. The flow of crafting hats is much different. It's not faster or easier, just simply a better flow. Turning a single fur felt cone, hood or capeline, into a hat is a marvelous process. A lot of hard work goes into making these hats and I think many don't really realize it. The simplest way to showing how much effort it takes to craft these hats is just that. Showing how it's made. To film and edit video takes a lot of time. I still can't understand how YouTubers out there manage to do it. Well, maybe it is just that. They do nothing else but film and edit. Then it makes sense. I have to craft hats, clean up, plan and go grocery shopping before the end of the day. However, I am aiming to have a couple of new videos and studio photos ready soon. There is just a lot going on around me at the moment.
This week I completed three new hats for the Marketplace. I have a couple of Custom orders being finished up and should be ready by next week. It is such a joy to craft hats and I do appreciate all your orders, requests and kind words. It all helps a lot and I have more tools coming in that will make the process more efficient but also bring back more hat styles. I am getting ready to offer Homburgs again. I know that many of you are waiting on them and I apologize for the delay. I am pretty sure you will love them once you see the new samples coming up.
Better get back to work. Got a house to renovate, a course to complete and more hats to craft. I might not have much time for gardening this year, but I sure will spend some time there once the sun comes out. Have a wonderful Sunday!
