Felt hats in Summer? It works perfectly well, depending on where you are in the world and for what purpose. Cowboys can wear felt all year around. I wore a 30X Beaver felt hat to Greece one summer. Worked for me. But might not work for some. Why should you place an order for a custom hat now? Well, you would be investing for Autumn/ Winter season. An order in May/ June will result in a finished hat in time for August/ September or even October depending on the intricate details of the order. The best time is indeed now. Besides, I love keeping busy over summer. I will be in the studio all summer building my new home and workspace.
