A new month is here! Always exciting to start something new. New month brings new problems but also new solutions. I managed to finish up more hats this week compared to previous week. I am already finishing up a couple of hats for the coming week. Schedule wise I am pretty much ahead. With the holiday season coming up it's worth to mention a couple of points to think about.
If you place an order now, I won't be able to complete in time for Christmas and New Year. Orders that I have on hand will however be completed before the holidays. Though, I will have a cut off period where I won't ship any packages as the system is totally swamped with Christmas packages. Usually it's the last two weeks of the year. If you are impacted by this I will of course let you know.
Regarding the homepage, I am still working on bringing back the old blog posts. There are a lot of photos which will take some time to upload again. I will try to have it back online as soon as possible. I hope you like the new functions for ordering custom hats, I will also redesign the initial shop page in the coming weeks.
This week I completed a couple of very interested hats. You have seen some of them before. The Dillinger and Ragnar needs no introduction. I have not come up with a new name for the two new styles, but I hope they will bring some interesting variation to the portfolio of Hufvud hats. The last, Sage Green fedora is inspired from 1920s photos of the same hat. Crafted from a vintage 52s wooden block style that I have. From the side it looks reverse tapered and from the front it's very tapered inwards. I love the look of this style. It's perhaps not for everyone, but definitely for someone who loves the particular era that I am trying to capture. I will stay very brief. If you have any questions, please send me an email. Happy to tell you more about these hat styles. I hope the videos are useful for you to see the hats in different views and details.
Thank you for your continued support! Orders, donations and words of encouragement! I am going through a lot at the moment, updates takes time for both website and social media.

Love the new hat design, a real eye turner, you’ll get lots of orders for that hat, I’m sure,
Moss green as you know is my favourite colour and my Sven get plenty of compliments, when out and about,
Great to hear everything is going well, you thoroughly deserve it, after all your hard, but amazing work, you are a true craftsman/artisan. Chris
