I had a bit longer social media silence than what I had wished for. However, Hufvud is back! As promised, I have started to make videos of me working in the studio. I hope it will give you a bit of an insight in what I do everyday. I don't intend to stage events, simply film my daily tasks over an hour period. As long as there in an interest for it, I will continue. My old GoPro did not perform as I had hoped for. It will have to do for now. My phone works great and I will continue to use that one instead.
At first, I only intended to test the equipment. I did not even shave and I definitely need to get a haircut for the next video. Give me some time and I might just be speaking in the video as well. For now, I don't have the confidence to do so. Also, I need to focus more on crafting than video editing. As for the lights, I need to work on that too.
There are still many things I need to arrange in the studio. Shelves are missing, tools are everywhere, even more are off camera. Storage of felts should be at a different location. The space will change a lot over the next couple of months and now I have the opportunity to build and develop Hufvud further.
I am happy to present the very first Hufvud hats to be completed in the new studio! How fitting it would be two new Leifur Fedoras, ready for a new adventure. As I am embarking on my new adventure, so shall these two happy customers. I am keeping this post very brief as I have spent too much time on video editing. Opening new ground for me to work on.
I appreciate your patience and support during this period. It has taken a toll on all of us, but we are finally here and we are very happy. Waking up in the countryside every single day is a blessing and much needed change from the city life.
Have a wonderful Sunday!
