Dual binding edge on a fedora! Have you ever seen this before? I have not. Or I might have. I just had to try to make one. It has been on my mind for some time now, what if I use two ribbons and make a dual binding in different colors? Lo and behold, it works and it looks fantastic! From today, I have this as an customizable option in the store. This takes a lot of time to make, expect to wait additional time for this kind of hat to be ready. As well as double cost.
The felt on this Bogart style is a limited 100X Beaver Pecan color. I only have a couple of felts in this style. It's not from my regular suppler of felts. Speaking of felts, I have a large quantity of felts arriving to the new studio in the coming months leading up to summer. I also have new tools coming in that will change a bit how I work.
I am also making preparations for being able to take on visitors from this summer onwards. The studio space needs some preparations as well as a couple of new custom built furniture to accommodate the visit. Can't wait to show you the final look of the studio. Well not exactly final, I am always improving.
